Paddy’s Family

In Comm 373, a course about documentaries and the process behind creating one, our final project was for the group to decide on a topic to film, gather footage about the topic, and edit into a short documentary.

My group, which consisted of myself, Nathan Miller, and Kellan Coe, choose to create our film on Paddy’s Game Shoppe, a local game store owned by my aunt and uncle.

Nathan and Kellan were primarily responsible for setting up the cameras and lighting for our B-roll and interviews. They came up with many of the questions since I was fairly familiar with the store and many of the activities that go on at the establishment.

I was responsible for most of the interviewing, voice-overs and editing the final project.

The film was edited using Adobe Premiere Pro.
